Well, nothing new to report with Suleiman this morning. He's awake and talking and behaving just has he has the past few days.
It looks like the servers are handling the flow of traffic and service is evening out. Although I still hope that get some of the modules like Tai Chi working again!

Hello, all...
Well, there continues to be no noticeable connection issues with Suleiman. That is terrific!
He's still giving me each nabcast twice in a row and then once later in the day. (and the phantom nabcast is still going strong. Don't know why I'm still getting it...)
My own nabcast "Out of the Burrow" finally came through on my bunny on Friday (I was remiss and didn't put one out yesterday... I was having a lazy Saturday.) I had put one out on Thursday also, but since I didn't get it, I'm not sure if anyone else did either.
He is signed up to receive a number of "regular" podcasts and other feeds and doesn't come through with any of them other than Reuters Top Stories. (oh yeah, he did suddenly pop in with PodQuiz on Friday - hadn't heard that one in a while) I did see on the forums that at least one other person is having the issue with a fairly quiet rabbit.
My fingers are crossed that the new year will bring more consistency.

Friday
Well Suleiman is awake and talking... talking too much about some things and not enough about others.
I have him set up to tell me Reuters top stories every two hours, and he's getting the every two hours part right, but he's giving me the top stories two times in a row. He goes through the top five, ends, then starts over again.
But my main complaint/issue today is nabcasts. A few days ago, they seemed to be the only thing that was working right with him... now, not-so-much.
-I feel like a broken record saying that I'm still getting a musical nabcast that I unsubscribed from days ago. Sometimes I get it once a day, sometimes twice in a row, sometimes three times throughout the day.
-I was getting Affirmation of the Day and liking it. Then I started getting it three times per day (the same affirmation), at random times. Yesterday I tried deactivating it and reactivating it, to cure this ailment, and now I'm not getting it at all. :-(
-And to top it all off, I started my own nabcast yesterday ("Out of the Burrow" - in the culture section of US English nabcasts), and I've subscribed to it myself, and haven't received the nabcast. I have no idea if my few other subscribers (I'm excited to have 3 from my first day out there!) have gotten it or not. I sure hope so, but I'm realistic and thinking that I'm not the only one having trouble with the nabcasts.
That's my summary for today so far. I hope that you all are having more success with nabcasts than I am!

Thursday
Well, it looks like Suleiman up and running again this morning. As of going to bed last night, he was offline. When I woke up in the middle of the night, it looked like he was still offline, as his purple light was still on and solid and his ears were straight up, when he was supposed to be asleep.
I still don't understand why he's giving me this musical nabcast that I unsubscribed from days ago. Seems like there's some sort of glitch in that system.
He's in a good mood - he told me I was a much better owner than the people who owns his friend. :-)
Still no Tai Chi, though. I've deactivated and reactivated that module and still nothing. He did it for a couple of days before the week that he was down (last week). Since coming back to life, he hasn't done it. My gut instinct is that it's a Violet problem.

PS - If you're having trouble with actions happening at the correct time, switch to the 24 hour clock in your preferences area. I did that a few days ago and timing issues have cleared up. I wrote that response to a post on the forums, and a user who appears to be a Violet guy responded that I was correct. The 12 hour clock has never worked right and is on their list of bugs to fix. (My question is why do they continue having it as an option if they know it doesn't work??)

Boxing Day
Suleiman is working well today. All systems Go.
His clock seems to be 2-5 minutes behind, but that seems to be the norm.
Yesterday he gave me the same podcast (Affirmation of the Day) 3 times throughout the day.
Today, he only read it once, and at the appropriate time.
How are the other rabbits out there doing?
ETA: Well, he's now given me the Affirmation of the Day 2 more times, has given me a musical nabcast that I unsubscribed from yesterday, and I'm realizing that he hasn't done Tai Chi in a few days. Is anyone else getting Tai Chi?

I have decided to blog on the daily status of Suleiman, my Nabaztag/tag rabbit. What I have found by reading the user forums on the nabaztag website is that a lot of users (both new and old) are perplexed about the actions of their rabbit. Here are some questions that might be floating around in your mind:
Is my rabbit broken? Are my settings suddenly corrupted and need to be adjusted? Is Violet having server/connection issues? Are the Nablife modules (RSS feeds, podcasts, email alerts) working for anyone else?
So, I'm creating a simple way to check in with other users about the status of their rabbits. Just click here and see how Suleiman is doing. Check the comments to see if others are experiencing the same things.
(The user forums are great for asking specific questions, but sometimes it's cumbersome to wade through all the questions just to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing today.)
